Hey, I’m a Website Accessibility Consultant.
I’m Shivaji Mitra — an independent website accessibility consultant based in Kolkata, India. Thank you for stopping by; “Ananyoo” is a regional name from the land of Bengal that means “unique.”
As a website accessibility consultant, I run a Kolkata-based web design agency dedicated to delivering quality, accessible websites for clients around the world. Every engagement covers the full journey — from a website accessibility audit to remediation and accessible development — and all of our proceeds go into building state-of-the-art, WCAG-friendly accessible themes.
I’m a DHS Trusted Tester (Web & Section 508 certified), a Certified Webmaster, and a qualified accessibility consultant who has been exploring web accessibility since 2006. Having advanced skilfully across countless accessibility tests, I make websites and applications conformant with WCAG 2.2, Section 508 and other standards — with a small, dedicated team of experienced auditors and remediators behind me.
These days I’m active on Upwork, where I’ve completed well-known projects for reputed organisations as a Top Rated Plus website accessibility consultant with a 100% job-success score.

Website accessibility consultant — your questions
What does a website accessibility consultant do?
A website accessibility consultant reviews your site against WCAG 2.2 Level AA, finds the barriers that block people who use screen readers, keyboards or screen magnification, and hands your team clear, code-level fixes. I pair automated testing with manual checks in JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver and TalkBack, so real-world issues are never missed.
How much does an accessibility audit cost?
Every audit is scoped to your site’s size and goals, so I price each project individually — fixed-price or hourly. Tell me about your website and I’ll send a clear, no-obligation proposal.
Which accessibility standards do you work to?
WCAG 2.2 AA is the baseline, mapped to the law that applies to you — the ADA, Section 508 or EN 301 549. You receive a plain-English report and a VPAT where one is required.
Do you fix the issues or only report them?
Both. As a hands-on website accessibility consultant I don’t simply hand over a list — my team remediates the code until your site genuinely passes, then supports you as your content and the regulations evolve. Explore my accessibility services to see how.
